Bio

My name is Rollie McCall Jr. I have been involved in education for over 24 years. I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Miles College. I also earned a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of West Alabama.
I taught sixth grade computer science education, seventh grade life science, and 8th grade physical science at Demopolis Middle School. In addition to the above, I served as our school's athletic director for a number of years.  I became the assistant principal of this great institution of higher learning and currently hold that title. I am involved on several committees at our school.
My ultimate goal is to ensure effective instructional leadership, promote high teacher morale & collaboration, expect optimum student scholastic achievement, and to assist in providing a safe environment for all.
I love my job and I love seeing and being a part of the development of children. I also believe that all children can learn and they deserve the best instructional leadership possible.
Keeping the school's atmosphere positive and upbeat is a key to success as well as keeping the lines of communication open among administrators, faculty, staff, students, parents, and the community. In my experience, teamwork is the ultimate key that makes a school succeed in reaching goals and helping students attain his or her full potential.
