Governor Kay Ivey has committed $100 million in Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act funding to deliver free internet access to eligible K-12 students in their homes this fall. The State of Alabama is using the funds to purchase internet service for low-income households with K-12 students so students can participate in distance learning. This service is being administered through the Alabama Broadband Connectivity for Students Program.

December 11th is the Notification Deadline for DCSS Virtual Students to Transition Back to On-Campus Learning
The Demopolis City School System is opening the second window for virtual students to transition back to on-campus learning. Parents who are interested in this transition must complete the Re-entry form and submit it to the applicable school(s) by Friday, December 11th, 2020 at 3:00 PM. Re-entry forms can be located at https://www.dcsedu.com/ under Latest News, at any school, or at the Board of Education.
