Beginning in the fall of 2018, DCSS will offer dual enrollment welding in collaboration with Shelton State Community College. This will be the second tuition free career technical education dual enrollment program available to students, In January of 2017, the HVAC dual enrollment program was established in an effort to support local businesses. We value our partnership with Shelton State and are pleased to establish programs to help the workforce needs in this region of Alabama.
DCSS is Now Accepting Applications for Non-Resident Students. Availability is Based on Space in Programs and Grade-levels
Parents of non-resident students wishing to enroll their children in the Demopolis City School System for the 2018/2019 School Year must schedule an appointment/orientation with the superintendent. There is a $50.00 non-refundable application fee.
The next meetings for any new non-resident student requesting to attend Demopolis City Schools will be Friday, June 22nd at 9:00 am and Wednesday, June 27th at 3:00 pm in the DCS Board Room. A PDF of the Non-resident Application is attached. There is a $50 application fee.
